It’s been quite the week for the 8MS team. First of all we picked up a major luxury travel client. Then we were interviewed about the Google mobile update by Reuters. And to cap off a great week, we walked away with two prestigious awards at the Performance Marketing Awards in London.
Best Organic Search Campaign
We put on our best dresses and tuxedos and headed to the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane in London for the eighth annual Performance Marketing Awards.
We knew prior to the event that we had been shortlisted in the ‘Best Organic Search Campaign’ category for our work with Farfetch, the leading online e-commerce community of over 300 fashion boutiques.
We waited in anticipation for our category to be announced, and then it was celebration time as we picked up our first major award as an agency.
The judges highlighted our use of “smart, engaging and creatives pieces….leading to an impressive increase in organic sessions and revenue.”
Grand Prix Award
If that wasn’t enough, we were then surprised and humbled as our name was read out as the winner of the final award: the Grand Prix. This was the award for all the award winners, and made the night particularly special for all the team.

Content Performance
The SEO award entry focused on content performance. Working with the SEO team at Farfetch, we helped to develop creative content assets to help boost the performance of their editorial content.
Content monetisation is at the heart of everything we do as an agency, and to beat off stiff competition to the award shows we are definitely on the right track.
