Sony Pictures - The Alternative Guide to Edinburgh

Sony Entertainment approached 8 Million Stories with the brief of creating an interactive piece of content that would support the launch of Trainspotting 2. The main challenge was to come up with a concept that met the core objectives of promoting not just the film and the dialog, but also to celebrate the characters of the film and Edinburgh as a filming location. Our solution was to create an "Alternative Guide to Edinburgh" that showcased key scenes from the movie, from each of the four primary characters perspectives. The campaign was a huge success, with tens of thousands of users visiting the site and being featured in numerous publications, including The Drum and Awwwards.
