8MS Shortlisted For Three Digital Awards

We’ve been working hard here at 8MS. Ever since our inception back in early 2013, we’ve been striving to provide award-winning, successful digital campaigns for all of our clients.

From strategy setting and content creation, through to video optimisation and community management, we’ve been undertaking a range of amazing campaigns.

If working with Universal Music on the Sam Smith interactive timeline wasn’t enough, we can now reveal we’ve been shortlisted for not one, not two, but three digital awards. Which awards are we shortlisted for? Here’s the lowdown:

Best Organic Search Campaign – PerformanceIN Awards

Farfetch were one of our first clients, and their SEO performance continues to skyrocket. Working alongside their SEO and editorial teams, we created several content assets to help them improve on-site interactivity, domain authority and overall SEO performance. For this award, we’ve been shortlisted based on our work on a Boutique Finder, helping users find the right boutique brands to fit their style.

The awards ceremony is in London on the 28th April 2015, so keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook for the outcome!

Best Paid Social Campaign – The Drum Digital Trading Awards

The BBC Global News campaigns span multiple markets, multiple languages and many different audience profiles. For the Digital Trading Awards, we presented our approach and results for a paid social strategy that focused on the South African elections in 2014, where we executed a targeted strategy, focusing around Facebook, Outbrain and local mobile social app, Mxit.

The awards ceremony for the Digital Trading Awards is in London on the 29th April 2015, so safe to say we’re going to have a fun couple of nights!

Best SEO Campaign – The Drum Marketing Awards

Last, but not least, we are shortlisted for Best SEO Strategy Or Campaign at The Drum Marketing Awards. We have been working with Glenfiddich on an International SEO strategy over the last 12 months that spans 6 different languages, with the aims of growing site traffic and brand awareness. The campaign has been a big success, so we are hoping our hard work will be rewarded with this great award!

Wish us luck!
