Working with review app legends Yelp has several benefits but perhaps the biggest has to be the exclusive Yelp Edinburgh blogger events we get to help organise! Last month, we got to explore the city with some top bloggers to discover all the secret cocktail bars hiding in Edinburgh that you’d never be able to find without the insider scoop.
This month, in time for Halloween, we’ve been discovering the grim history of the capital and finding out more about the most haunted pubs in Edinburgh. To get in the spirit of things, we asked some blogger friends to pluck up the courage to join us on a night down in the underground city vaults with City of the Dead Tours.
Our tour guide Dave led us from vault to vault telling us tales of unsavoury crime, horrible death and paranormal entities. One thing I took away from the tour is that bloggers can certainly scream!
After the tour, we headed back to Whistle Binkies (one of the haunted pubs from Yelp’s map!) for some more ghost stories over a pint. Check out what we got up to below!
